Seasoned Asparagus

Every cup of chopped asparagus only has 2 grams of net carbs. It’s a keto friendly veggie that’s good for beginners, and great for those who are already following a program. It won’t knock you out of ketosis, and its rich in fiber, folate, vit A, vit C, and vit K. It improves digestion and is good for weight loss in general.

Ingredients

1 bunch asparagus(12 spears)
1 tsp garlic salt
Olive oil cooking spray

Directions

  1. Trim about 2 inches off from the stems of the asparagus.
  2. Place asparagus in air crisp basket.
  3. Sprinkle salt on asparagus and spray with olive oil.
  4. Shut air crisping lid and select AIR CRISP in Ninja Foodi.
  5. Bring TEMP to 390 degrees and press START/STOP. Set time to 5 minutes. 
  6. Open lid and turn asparagus spears.
  7. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve.
