Mac N Cheese & Minestrone Soup

We know, and you know this too…nothing beats Mac N Cheese. Melted cheddar, fontina and parmesan cheese drenched in milk and spiced up with paprika, mustard and pepper. It is everybody’s comfort food indeed. In this recipe, you don’t need any long and tedious preparations. Cook the macaroni with the sauce in less than 30 minutes!

To top it off, we will show you how you can cook minestrone soup on top of your mac n’ cheese in your Instant Pot 3 Quart. You can even cook more noodles on the steamer pan on top because our 3 Quart Stackable Pans have 2 regular pans and 1 steamer pan.

Mac N Cheese

Macaroni 1 pound
Water 4 cups
Evaporated milk 1 can
Cheddar cheese shredded 3 ½ cup
Fontina cheese shredded 2 cups
Parmesan grated ½ cup
Smoked paprika ½ teaspoon
Ground mustard ½ teaspoon
Ground black pepper to taste
Kosher salt 1 teaspoon
Butter ¼ cup

Minestrone Soup

Garbanzo beans 1 can
Kidney beans 1 can
Chicken broth 32oz
Carrots 3 diced
Celery stalks 2, diced
Onion ½, diced
Zucchini 1 small diced
Petite dice tomatoes 1 ½ cup
Uncooked shell noodles1 cup
Parsley chopped, for garnish


  1. In the bottom Chiboz Cookware regular pan, add macaroni, salt, water, mustard, paprika, and butter. Mix well.
  2. In the other Chiboz Cookware regular pan, add all the ingredients of minestrone soup and stir well.
  3. Stack the mac and cheese pan on top of the minestrone soup pan and bind the stacked pans with the interlocking handles.
  4. Add 1 cup water to the instant cooker main pot and insert the Chiboz cookware stack into the main pot.
  5. Close lid and set to manual, pressure, high, for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Allow it to natural pressure release.
  7. Remove the stack pans from instant cooker and add evaporated milk, cheeses, salt, and pepper in mac and cheese, stir well until fully combined
  8. Transfer minestrone soup to the serving bowls, garnish with parsley and serve.
